Eimskip leitar að ábyrgum og metnaðarfullum einstaklingi í starf öryggisvarðar hjá Alcoa Stevedoring við Mjóeyrarhöfn á Reyðarfirði. Um er að ræða fullt starf þar sem unnið er á dagvinnutíma frá kl. 08:00-17:00.

Starfs- og ábyrgðarsvið:

  • Móttaka, afgreiðsla og skráning gáma inn og út af hafnarsvæði
  • Vigtun gáma
  • Ábyrgð á umferð um hafnarsvæði
  • Eftirlit og skráning á gámaflæði inn og út af hafnarsvæði
  • Önnur tilfallandi verkefni

Menntunar- og hæfniskröfur:

  • Löggildingarnámskeið sem vigtarmaður (kostur)
  • Þekking eða reynsla af sambærilegum verkefnum (kostur)
  • Góð almenn tölvukunnátta
  • Góð íslensku- og enskukunnátta

EFTA has established preferential trade relations – primarily in the form of free trade agreements and joint declarations on cooperation – with more than 50 countries and territories outside the EU and is continuing to develop this worldwide network.

The Trade Relations Division (TRD) of the EFTA Secretariat in Geneva consists of 12 staff members. It provides comprehensive services related to the exploration, negotiation, administration and upgrading of EFTA’s preferential trade relations.

This position is open to nationals of one of the EFTA Member States (Norway, Iceland, Switzerland, and Liechtenstein).

Speech synthesis specialist

Applications are invited for a research position in text to speech systems at the Language and Voice Laboratory (lvl.ru.is) at Reykjavik University's School of Science and Engineering. The position is sponsored by the Icelandic Language Technology fund grant "Environment for building text-to-speech synthesis for Icelandic." The main aim of the work will be to set up and advance research on speech synthesis back-end architectures for parametric speech synthesis. The successful candidate will work closely with the other members of the lab who focus on the language specific problems such as text normalization, phonemic analysis and phrasing. Even though the main objective of the work will be on Icelandic, working with other languages will be welcome. The successful candidate will contribute to the academic output of the lab as well as the publication of an open TTS environment for Icelandic.

(Senior) Sector Officer Business Development, Innovation and SMEs

The (Senior) Sector Officer provides expertise in the areas of Business Development, Innovation and SMEs. S/he is responsible and follows relevant programmes from development throughout implementation. The position involves travel.
The (Senior) Sector Officer will be a member of the Priority Sectors Unit in the Programmes Department. The (Senior) Sector Officer reports to the Head of Priority Sectors Unit.

Tasks
• Provide advice to the Donors on her/his areas of responsibility;
• Maintain close dialogue with the Donor States and the Beneficiary States regarding the Grants’ priorities and programming requirements;
• Provide advice during the development and implementation of programmes;
• Manage the EEA and Norway Grants programmes in this priority sector;
