Quality Control Manager

A fast growing beverage export company in Iceland is looking for a quality control manager.

The job will require 50% time on the factory floor maintaining stringent quality controls on packaging and 50% on laboratory, processes and documentation.

Starfssvið
  • Maintaining quality certifications such as NSF and FSSC 22000
  • Maintaining and updating quality registrations with other registration bodies and customers
  • Internal audits; planning and execution
  • HACCP study
  • Supplier assessment & documentation
  • DoC and other paperwork
  • Educating machinery operators on GMP and HACCP
  • Monitoring production and quality assurance for premium output on a daily basis
  • Be able to acquire basic knowledge on operation of production machinery (to be able to help production staff improve their work)

Legal Officer – FMO

The Financial Mechanism Office (FMO) is the secretariat of the EEA Grants and Norway Grants, and is affiliated to the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) in Brussels.

We are looking for a highly motivated and qualified candidate to take on the post of Legal Officer in the Compliance and Administration Department of the FMO.

The overall objectives of the Grants are to reduce economic and social disparities in the European Economic Area (EEA) and to strengthen bilateral relations between the Donor States (Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway) and the 15 Beneficiary States (Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Cyprus, Estonia, Hungary, Greece, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Portugal, Malta, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia).

The Grants are based on a programme model where the Beneficiary States are responsible for the programmes and for projects implemented under the programmes. A few programmes, notably regarding Civil Society, Regional Cooperation and Decent Work, are operated by the FMO.

Senior Officer – EEA Policy Coordination

The European Free Trade Association (EFTA) is an intergovernmental organisation set up for the promotion of free trade and economic integration to the benefit of its four Member States, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland. The EFTA Secretariat provides services to the EFTA States. In Brussels this entails support in the management of the EEA Agreement, in particular in ongoing decision making for the continuing evolution of the EEA Agreement.

The EEA Coordination Division consists of currently 17 staff members and is responsible for the overall coordination of general policy and legal EEA related activities, i.a. servicing the EEA Council, the EEA Joint Committee, the Standing Committee of the EFTA States, and the EFTA Parliamentary and Consultative Committees.
